WP7. System Performance Evaluation

In previous workpackages a multi-cell optimised air interface is developed and a network architecture is proposed. However, despite the key assumption of imperfect channel knowledge, simplifying assumptions have been made, especially regarding system aspects. A dynamic system simulation is required in order to accurately determine the performance of the proposed generalised air interface. Furthermore, the impact of the air interface to the end user experience is critical and thus this workpackage is broken down into two tasks.
