WP7.2. Air Interface Emulator Development
The second task will develop an air interface emulator to assess the user experience from running TCP/IP based applications over the proposed unified air interface. An initial conceptual diagram of an emulation platform is shown in the figure below. Based on simulation input data gathered in WP7 Task 1, the emulation platform is able to mimic the behavior of the SURFACE concept. Application data is sent through the emulator and modified as if it was sent through an actual air interface.
